I had the incredible opportunity, together with my dear friend, Haruko Hayakawa—to craft the animated cover for ‘LOVE LANGUAGE’, the new album by TOMORROW X TOGETHER.

We poured an obsessive level of detail into the 3D model of the padlock, which became the central symbol in the artwork. Every edge, material, and reflection was carefully crafted to reflect the mood of the album.

To meet a tight deadline while maintaining creative flexibility, I built a custom procedural rig for the padlock, allowing me to animate and iterate quickly without compromising quality. This workflow gave us room to explore different ideas and refine the motion with agility—bringing the concept to life in a way that felt both precise and expressive.

Above all, the collaborative process was incredibly fun. Working with Haruko was a joy, and I had a genuinely wonderful time crafting this piece together.
